Technology has enabled plagiarism in many ways. In made it a lot similar. Now all that needs to bedone is to copy and paste information from online onto a document. There are also Internet Paper Mills where you can buy terms papers. College have found a few ways to try prevent this from happening. They use software programs that check to see if papers have been used before. Also teacher are encouraged to talk more about sourcing and plagiarism.

I've never heard of Internet Paper Mills before, but it sounds like an easy way to get caught plagiarizing!
ReplyDeleteI know of plenty of cases where students pay others to complete papers for them, it is surprisingly easy to get term papers from previous students or have someone to write a new one for you.
