My team ranked third overall. The stratgey that we used was to focus on the clear water as it was selling the most. Adverting wasn't working that well so we cut back on it. Profit isn't the only thing but is one of the most important ones. I think high margin of sales is best because then it will lead to a better profit. Some strengths were that we were quickly able to see what products were selling and adjusted the prices as needed. Some weakness were we didn't know how to sell certain of the waters. Things that I learned was that you can't sell too cheap or in the end profits will be too small. The next was that certain items that sell it's best to focus on them then trying to get others to sell that aren't

Apple Employee

I think Apple was within their rights to fire that employee. With him working for the company by talking badly about the company it could hurt Apples imagine because hundreds of people will be seeing this complaint about Apple.I was employee it would be awful to be fired over such things but it would be a good lesson to remember what you post on Facebook or other Social Media places.If I was the employer it would look bad on me that someone employed by me is writing negative things about the company.

software decision making

I personally don't use any but one that I found is a decision tree for excel. This can be used to see what will happen to your company when you make certain decision. For example it can be used to check and track progress of employees. This will help keep organized.

Plagiarism

Technology has enabled plagiarism in many ways. In made it a lot similar. Now all that needs to bedone is to copy and paste information from online onto a document. There are also Internet Paper Mills where you can buy terms papers. College have found a few ways to try prevent this from happening. They use software programs that check to see if papers have been used before. Also teacher are encouraged to talk more about sourcing and plagiarism.

Ethics

One time when my ethics were questioned was in highest school there was a substitute teacher the day one of my Biology test were. The substitute didn't really care if people were using the book or asking others for the answers. While it was tempting to do this I just took the test the normal way.

The US falling behind other countries in Education

Americans are falling behind because there is a lack of focus in Math and Science. In general there is a lack of focus and motivation to do well in a lot of classes. Also, the lack of requirement in subjects. From the article I read it talked about how California tried to have a set of requirements but the students did so bad they didn't use the results.

Technology tools used for learning.

In most of my classes I've used multiple types of technology. For my Business 103 class there was a Facebook group that had certain groups update each week about assignments and other upcoming events. My Economics class also used Facebook group to discuss certain news articles. I've also used Aplia to do homework in a lot of my classes. I think using technology in the classroom is a good thing because it helps everyone get use to other kinds of technology while also learning about the subject.

Favorite Blogs

I have a few blogs that I like reading. This one is a tennis blog that keeps up with all tournaments. It also makes predictions on who they think is going to do well in each tournament.

One of my other favorites is this one which is a music blog. I use it to keep up with a lot of music I otherwise wouldn't know about.
